Deann Morgan - Managing Director, heading Alternative Investments Origination for Merrill Lynch's Global Wealth & Investment Management Group.

She chairs the Board of Directors of Merrill Lynch Alternative Investments. From 2006 to 2008, Ms. Morgan headed Merrill Lynch's Private Equity Origination Team and was responsible for private equity and listed alternative investments. From 1999 to 2006, Ms. Morgan worked for Merrill Lynch's Asia Investment Banking Group leading numerous privatizations and M&A transactions for institutional clients. Prior to this role, she was a strategy consultant covering financial institutions throughout Asia for Booz Allen Hamilton.

She received her M.B.A. from University of Chicago and her B.B.A. from University of Michigan and is a CFA charterholder.

Miyuki Matsumoto - Managing Director Goldman Sachs & Co.

Miyuki is a managing director in the Alternative Capital Markets Group (ACM), where she is responsible for creating and marketing the firm’s hedge fund strategies. These include all proprietary Goldman Sachs Asset Management hedge funds as well as investments offered by the firm’s external managers platform, the Hedge Fund Strategies (HFS) group. Prior to assuming her current role in 2007, Miyuki spent five years in HFS, where she led the group’s high net worth client facing activities globally. Miyuki is co-head of the Investment Management Division Women’s Network. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 as an analyst in Private Wealth Management. Miyuki was named managing director in 2011.

Miyuki earned a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Lionel Erdely - Chief Investment Officer, Alternative Investments - Chief Executive Officer, Lyxor Inc.

Lionel Erdely joined Lyxor Asset Management S.A. ("Lyxor AM") in 2002 as a Fund of Hedge Funds Manager responsible for the Cross-Asset Allocation process for Lyxor's Investment Committee. He was appointed as the Head of Lyxor's Alternative Investments business in 2004 and is a member of the Lyxor Management Committee and the Executive Committee. He moved to New York in April 2009 to take additional responsibilities as CEO of Lyxor Asset Management Inc. ("Lyxor US"), Lyxor AM's U.S. - based asset management subsidiary.

Prior to joining Lyxor AM, Lionel Erdely was a Vice President in the Equity Corporate Finance department of Société Générale where he worked on several IPOs, capital increases and convertible bond issues, mainly on the German market. Mr. Erdely holds an M.B.A. degree in Finance from ESSEC in Paris.

Ken Akoundi, PhD - Global Head of Sales Opera Solutions – Global Markets

Prior to joining Opera, Ken held the position of Head of Pension Strategies for Deutsch Bank Securities Global Markets. The pension Strategies and Solutions group was focused on providing pensions, endowments and foundations with access to competitive and practical solutions that address many aspects of their business on either a streamlined or customized basis. The effort facilitated coordination and participation of many divisions and departments including Foreign Exchange, Equities, Commodities, Credit, Emerging Markets, and Rates.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he was the head of risk management at Optima Fund Management ($6Billion peak Assets Fund of Hedge Funds).

In 1998, he helped co-found RiskMetrics Group, where he last held the position of Chief Knowledge Officer. Prior to RiskMetrics Group, Dr. Akoundi was a Project Manager in the Risk Management Services department at J.P. Morgan, where he managed software development, and maintenance, and training.

He has lectured on various risk management topics at NYU, Columbia, Baruch College, and Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Dr. Akoundi holds a Doctorate in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
