About Us
The Connecticut Hedge Fund Association, was born out of a networking group of Connecticut based alumni from one of the world’s most prestigious investment banks. Since that time, the CTHFA has fast become the leading regional association of alternative investment professionals in the United States.
Based in Fairfield County, Connecticut, the “hedge fund capital of the world,” the CTHFA represents over 150 member firms, and attracts hundreds of industry professionals to its highly rated conferences and events.
Our membership is open to all stakeholders in the alternative investment business, and includes many of the industry’s biggest names.
Mission
Hedge funds and private equity are the most dynamic and entrepreneurial segment of the global asset management industry.
The mission of the CTHFA is to organize forums for alternative investment professionals, investors, academics and regulators to analyze and discuss the substantive issues that are affecting or are likely to affect the investment management industry and global capital markets.
